Community Guidelines

Last Updated: March 28, 2026

UNBOUND Collective is built on trust, respect, and intentionality. These guidelines ensure that every member, participant, and guest experiences a space that is safe, sacred, and transformative. All members and event attendees are expected to uphold these principles.

Our Core Values

Every interaction within the UNBOUND community is guided by consent, respect, authenticity, and psychological safety. These are non-negotiable foundations of everything we do.

1. Consent Is Sacred

Consent is the cornerstone of our community. In every interaction — physical, verbal, or digital — enthusiastic and ongoing consent is required.

  • Ask first, always. Never assume consent based on context, clothing, previous interactions, or someone's presence at an event.
  • Consent can be withdrawn at any time. A "yes" can become a "no" at any point, and that must be respected immediately and without question.
  • Silence is not consent. Only a clear, enthusiastic, and verbal "yes" constitutes consent.
  • Check in regularly. During experiential activities, ongoing check-ins are expected.
  • Respect boundaries. If someone sets a boundary, honor it fully without pushing, negotiating, or questioning.

2. Respect & Dignity

Treat every person in the community with the dignity and respect they deserve, regardless of their background, identity, orientation, body type, experience level, or personal choices.

  • Use people's preferred names and pronouns
  • Do not make assumptions about anyone's boundaries, desires, or experience
  • Celebrate diversity in all its forms — gender, sexuality, race, ability, and body
  • Engage in healthy, constructive communication even during disagreements
  • Avoid unsolicited advice, touch, or commentary on others' bodies or choices

3. Confidentiality & Privacy

What happens in UNBOUND spaces stays in UNBOUND spaces. Privacy is essential to creating trust.

  • No photography or recording at events unless explicitly permitted by event facilitators and all participants
  • Do not share others' identities or personal information outside of the community
  • Do not screenshot or share private community discussions without explicit permission
  • Respect anonymity. Some members may use chosen names — honor that choice

4. Safety & Wellbeing

Physical and emotional safety is a shared responsibility.

  • Know your limits. You are never obligated to participate in any activity. "No" is always a complete answer.
  • Support others. If you notice someone appears uncomfortable or in distress, check in gently or alert a facilitator.
  • Substance awareness. Arriving to events under the influence of substances that impair consent or judgment is not permitted.
  • Report concerns. If you witness or experience a guidelines violation, report it to a facilitator or through our contact channels. All reports are handled confidentially.

5. Online Community Standards

Our digital community spaces are extensions of our in-person values.

  • Engage thoughtfully and respectfully in all discussions
  • No spam, solicitation, or self-promotion without permission from facilitators
  • No hate speech, discrimination, harassment, or bullying
  • Share content warnings when discussing potentially triggering topics
  • Support new members and create a welcoming atmosphere

6. Facilitation & Leadership

UNBOUND facilitators and staff hold additional responsibilities:

  • Model the behavior and values outlined in these guidelines
  • Create and maintain safe containers for all activities
  • Address violations promptly, compassionately, and firmly
  • Be available to receive feedback, concerns, and reports
  • Maintain appropriate boundaries with community members

7. Accountability & Consequences

We approach accountability with compassion, but violations of these guidelines are taken seriously.

  • First Violation: A private conversation with a facilitator to address the behavior and establish understanding
  • Repeated Violation: Temporary suspension from community spaces and/or events
  • Serious Violation: Immediate removal from the event or space and potential permanent ban from the community
  • Consent Violation: Immediate removal and permanent ban. Law enforcement may be contacted if appropriate.

The severity of the response is determined by the nature of the violation, context, and impact on affected individuals.

8. Feedback & Evolution

These guidelines are living documents. We welcome feedback from our community and will evolve these standards as our community grows. If you have suggestions, concerns, or feedback, please reach out to us.
